To help extend tyre life and your investment, we provide conventional tyre repairs and Ultra Repair for large injuries to sidewall, shoulder and tread. Our flagship surface mining branch in Middleburg is certified by REMA TIP TOP, reinforcing customer confidence in our repair process.

Nelson Mandela Day

Mandela Day is celebrated on July 18 each year. In an effort to inspire change and make a difference in the community, a local mine asked employees and contractors to assist in donating “dignity packs” for girls and boys in the local community. Each of these bags contained much needed toiletries for those in need. Kal Tire was proud to assist and donate to the cause.

Support for a school in Bafokeng

The parking lot at Chaneng Primary School had no overhead protection from the sun and overwhelming amounts of rain. Working with a local company, car ports were erected providing protection from the elements.

Support for a school in Rustenburg

Ramotse Primary Schools’ parking lot had become a mudslide whereby vehicles were getting stuck and learners were unable to avoid walking in the mud. Empowering a locally based company, Kal Tire was able to reconstruct the area creating a safer environment for learners and educators.

Protecting the Youth

Kal Tire is committed to assisting youth attending Skeerport Primary School in Brits. Due to COVID-19, Kal Tire donated personal protective and sanitizing equipment to the students, to keep them safe while attending school. 600 cloth masks were provided to both students and staff, each mask with the ability to be personalised. Additionally, sanitizer stands and replenishment bottles were also provided to allow students and staff to sanitize while at the school.

Room for Hope at a Rustenburg Preschool

Dozens of preschool children in Seraleng, South Africa, have a new roof over their heads and shiny new walls thanks to help from team members from the Rustenburg branch. The team built a new roof, painted walls, poured concrete flooring and delivered toilets to the daycare, which provides care to nearly 30 children, many from vulnerable homes.

Fuel for Play & Learning

At Skeerport Primary School in the Brits area of South Africa, many children arrive at their classrooms without shoes or food for the day. To help give those students nourishment to learn, grow and play, Kal Tire delivers vegetables donated by a local farmer and we donate various protein options to accompany the fresh veggies. Additionally, we managed to sponsor some of the barefoot children with new shoes.
