Thunder and Applause

We provided funds to help the White Fish Bay Thunder—a formidable girls’ hockey team—travel a 20-hour distance from the White Fish Bay First Nation in northern Ontario to compete in a tournament in Mississauga. The girls played hard and took first place on their side!

As part of our commitment to helping women thrive in our industry and in the trades, Kal Tire has funded two scholarships for women to take part in the 12-week Women in Trades Training (WITT) program at the College of the Rockies campus in Cranbrook, BC.
